Probate & Estate Administration
Have you been nominated by someone, who has recently died, to sort out their house, their money or their belongings?
• If they have left a Will you will become their Executor. You will need to obtain a document called a Grant of Probate. This enables you to sort out their financial affairs such as closing bank accounts, selling a house and paying beneficiaries.
• If they have not left a Will then you will need to obtain a Grant of Representation in order to carry their affairs.
Charles Clarke & Co understand that this is an extremely sad and difficult time and can help you with the application forms, drafting the Oath and any Inheritance tax issues. We are sympathetic and have a lot of experience in dealing with these matters.
